Under the Tories, our schools were under resourced and in need of substantial investment. As Council Leader, I brought in that investment. Now our local primary schools are oversubscribed. Some of our secondary schools are good, but others must improve more. We can bring about that improvement.
My Priorities:

Conservatives Use List of Waste Sites for New Schools

Merton’s Conservatives have adopted an irrational and offensive policy of using a list of current and potential sites for waste management facilities as a means of identifying potential sites for schools.
At their cabinet meeting on 22nd June they instructed officers to:
